Proactive Mental Wellness helps safety-sensitive professionals navigate the federally required SAP process following a DOT drug or alcohol violation. We also provide evidence-based virtual therapy for individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, workplace stress, and major life transitions.

Services are available virtually in New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Massachusetts.

Virtual, real-time evaluations for people who have violated a DOT drug or alcohol regulation and must complete the SAP process before becoming eligible for return-to-duty testing.

What Happens During the SAP Process?

Your evaluation, recommendations, and timeline are based on your individual circumstances. Every case does not follow the same treatment plan or schedule.

Secure Virtual Appointments

Complete your DOT SAP evaluation through a private, real-time audio and video appointment from a suitable location. Virtual services are available in New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Massachusetts, allowing you to meet with a DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional without traveling to an office.

Initial SAP Evaluation

Complete a virtual, real-time clinical evaluation with a DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional following a DOT drug or alcohol violation.

Quick and Easy Scheduling

Complete the required education or treatment and provide the documentation needed for the SAP to evaluate your compliance.

Follow-Up Evaluation

Return for a follow-up evaluation to determine whether you have successfully complied and may become eligible for return-to-duty testing. Required reporting is completed when applicable.
